Spiced Apple Cider with Warming Spices
Method
-
Simmer cider. In a small saucepan, add apple cider, cinnamon stick, cloves, ginger, apple slices and orange peel. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 8–10 minutes.

-
Strain & pour. Remove spices and pour hot cider into a mug. Let cool slightly.

-
Add Daily Elements. Once cider is warm (not boiling hot), stir in 1 scoop Daily Elements until dissolved.

-
Serve. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or orange slice if desired.

Notes & Variations
-
Avoid the pith: Avoid the pith, the white part of the orange peel. This adds a bitter flavor especially when simmered for a while.
-
Stronger spice: Add a pinch of ground nutmeg or star anise during simmering.
-
Batch prep: Multiply ingredients and simmer a larger pot or slow cooker for gatherings. Stir in Daily Elements to each mug individually.
-
Habit tip: Make this your evening wind-down ritual with a cozy, flavorful way to keep up your Daily Elements habit during colder months.
