We get it, parents. Getting kids to eat is sometimes hard enough. Now getting kids to eat greens? That's another level. We rounded up the most popular battle-tested hidden veggie recipes and ideas from our Daily Elements moms. From mealtime favorites to fun snacks, there's something for every picky-eater!
1. Extra Good Mac & Cheese

What you’ll need:
Packaged macaroni and cheese (or your favorite mac & cheese recipe)
1-2 scoops of Daily Elements
2-3 tbsp. Milk, half-and-half or heavy cream
Optional: 1 carton of bone broth
How to make it:
Prepare mac and cheese as usual; Optional: substitute water with bone broth for extra protein. Remove from heat.
Add 1-2 scoops of Daily Elements (adjust to preference); Add in milk of choice 1 tbsp. at a time to help adjust consistency. The more Daily Elements you add, the more milk you’ll need.
Tip: Kids need extra calories? Use whole milk or heavy cream for extra fat.
Tip: For super picky eaters, try half or quarter scoop of Daily Elements to start.
2. Quick Broccoli Cheese Bites

What you’ll need:
1 cup Steamed broccoli, finely chopped
½ cup Cheddar cheese, grated
2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
½ cup Panko bread crumbs
2 tbsp. Onion, finely minced
1 tsp. Garlic powder
2 Eggs
1 scoop of Daily Elements
¼ tsp. Salt
⅛ tsp. Pepper
Mini muffin pan
How to make it:
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix until well combined.
Grease mini muffin pan. Drop in about 1 tbsp of mixture to each cavity. Press down. Optional: Sprinkle tops with extra cheese
Bake for 15-18 minutes until tops are golden brown.
3. "Hulk Yogurt" Bowl

What you’ll need:
½ cup Vanilla yogurt (or flavor of choice)
1 scoop of Daily Elements
3-4 Strawberries (or fruit of choice), diced
Honey or agave syrup to taste
Optional: 1/4 tsp. Vanilla extract
How to make it:
Mix yogurt with 1 scoop of Daily Elements. Add sweetener and extract (if using).
Arrange diced strawberries on top of yogurt.
Optional: Drizzle with honey or chocolate syrup.
Tip: Try adding nutrient dense toppings like nuts and seeds (we love hemp seeds).
Tip: To get perfectly arranged shaped fruit, gently place a shaped cookie cutter on top of yogurt and use as a guide.
4. Nice Spiced Applesauce

What you’ll need:
3 Medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced (we like pink lady, golden delicious, and honey crisp)
⅛ tsp. Cinnamon (or spice mix like apple pie spice or pumpkin pie spice)
3-4 tbsp. Water
1 scoop of Daily Elements
Optional: Brown sugar or maple syrup to taste
How to make it:
Place apples, 3 tbsp. water and cinnamon in a medium saucepan.
On medium low heat, stir ingredients and cover.
Simmer gently for 10-15 minutes or until apples are soft. Let cool for 10 minutes.
Transfer apples into blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
Blend in 1-2 scoops of Daily Elements (adjust to preference).
Optional: Add sweetener of choice if using. Taste before adding more.
5. Sneaky Green Chocolate

What you’ll need:
1 cup white chocolate bar, chips, or wafers
1 scoop of Daily Elements
Candy mold of choice
Optional: Piping bag, oil based color, oil based flavor
How to make it:
Melt chocolate using low heat (either double boiler or microwave method), stirring frequently.
Once melted, remove from heat; Stir in 1 scoop of Daily Elements. Optional: If using, stir in oil based color and flavor.
Place melted chocolate into a piping bag. Snip the tip and fill candy molds. You can also carefully spoon chocolate over mold and use a spatula to push chocolate into the mold.
Let set for 1-3 hours (depending on size of the mold).
Unmold chocolate and enjoy!
Tip: Chips and candy wafers (also known as candy melts) come in different colors and flavors. Daily Elements will add a green tint, but will mostly blend in with dark or vibrant colors.
6. Fruity Smoothie Pops

What you’ll need:
1 cup Vanilla yogurt (or flavor of choice)
1 Banana
½ cup Strawberries (about 5)
1-2 scoops of Daily Elements
Popsicle mold and sticks
Optional: Honey or agave syrup (if using plain yogurt, about 1-2 tbsp.)
How to make it:
Blend all ingredients together
If using sweetener, add 1 tsp. at a time and add more if needed
Spoon mixture into popsicle molds; Freeze and let set for 4-6 hours
Recipe makes about 6-10 popsicles depending on size of mold
Tip: Drink the extra as a smoothie!
